I am a project manager and Chartered Professional Engineer with twenty years of experience in infrastructure, health, planning and ICT. I work on a contract basis, leading projects or supporting teams across the full project lifecycle, including strategy, scoping, delivery and handover.

Projects

  • Engaged via Stantec to develop a repeatable workflow for project managers negotiating land acquisition with landowners. Brought staff knowledge, Valuer-General due diligence requirements and legislative obligations together into a single process map, decision register and supporting checklists. (2026 – current).

  • Scoped the work, wrote the RFQ, selected the tenderer and project managed delivery and handover for the installation of solar panels across council buildings. (2026 - current).

  • Developed a multi-year program of accessibility works across Shire facilities. Interpreted audit data covering more than 800 items and bundled the work into staged packages that can be delivered within budget. Project ongoing. (2026 – current)

  • Managed the concept and detailed design of electrical and water services for a public park and festival site. Scoped the work, wrote the RFQ, selected the tenderer and project managed delivery and handover, working with internal staff and external stakeholders to develop a suitable design. Project ongoing.   • Reviewed several local council planning schemes including Murrindindi, Ararat and Darebin as a sub-consultant, consolidating policy, scheme content and performance data into strategic and technical assessments. Refined the method across reviews into a more consistent and efficient process. Project ongoing. (2026 – current)

  • Provided project management services for fabricating and commissioning agricultural manufacturing facilities across the US, Australia and Asia. Set up the risk frameworks, task management, safety and quality plans and occupational health and safety systems. (2024)

  • Researched options for lowering fleet emissions across Freight Victoria infrastructure through low emission zones. Reviewed global best practice and developed a set of recommendations for Freight Victoria to implement its own. (2024)

  • Developed ICT protocols and guidelines for six systems within a $2 billion hospital expansion. Coordinated input from clinicians, business leaders and ICT teams. (2023–2024)

  • Coached teams seeking funding for projects to improve pedestrian and driver safety. (2023)

  • Investigated the latest climate change assessments for sea level rise and extreme events, and their implications for planning policy, land use and development in a rural council. (2023)

  • Conducted a detailed review, including quantitative risk analysis, of explosives storage for a highway avalanche control operation. (2022) description

  • Led clinical engagement and digital strategy development for West Moreton Health, Darling Downs Health Service and Toowoomba Hospital. (2020–2023)

  • Founded a medical device start-up, raised $1 million in pre-seed funding and took the product from idea to a mass-manufactured, regulatory-approved device with 5,500 customers. Built and managed a cross-disciplinary team across design, IP, market entry, compliance, risk and customer management. (2020–2025)

  • Validated interface design and developed training for a project management tool used by project managers on large infrastructure projects. (2020–2021)

  • Developed a five-year digital strategy for the use of digital technology across five local industry sectors, shaped through workshops with government, industry, universities and the community. (2014–2020)

  • Set up and ran a $1 million annual applied research and development portfolio across Australasia, managing collaborative projects with around 450 researchers and partners. (2014–2020)

  • Worked within the integrated project management office (PMO) on the state-side delivery of a $2.6 billion hospital PPP. Worked with team to develop project controls, risk frameworks, reporting, scheduling and forecasting across parallel workstreams to support senior decision-making. (2014–2017)
